Help dismantle the name of the remains of the fortress

Повідомлення notly231988 » 11 серпня 2018 05:07

On the map of Ricci Zannoni 1767g. On the bank of the Buga River between the designated fortresses Karabelna and Bohuzyn there is a fortress (Cossack post) whose name someone read as "Strannitsa", and under this name she was known for some time on the Internet in profile forums.
But with the increase it is clear that there is written on the "Wanderer" well, does not seem like it. And we do not know how to interpret it unequivocally.
Can anyone have access to Zannoni cards of better quality, have experience in parsing old Latin, please, tell the correct name.
The fact is that we localized it on the spot, and I would like to restore to it a historically correct name.

View from it to the other side of the Southern Bug, the places that are mentioned by IV Fabricius "Archaeological map of the Black Sea":

On a fairly high plateau between the river. Bug and the farm Lvov found several fragments of vessels, vydelanyh on the potter's machine. Remains of earthworks, preserved here, should be referred to the type of military end of the XVIII and early XIX centuries; it is possible that these are Zaporozhye palanques.
On the coast of the Bug between the Lviv hamlet and the Ivanovo threshold, separate fragments of stained vessels such as Trypillian culture and fragments of easel "Roman" vessels were found on the surface. ":

In this place was located once the Romanovsky ford, which is on the "Map of the Buga River from the city of Nikolaev to Olviopolis, Works at Depot Kart Chernomor, Fleet, from a coastal survey of the navy made in 1804 under the watch of the Fleet of Leith." Budishcheva:
